Access and Portability

You can download a complete copy of your personal data anytime through your account settings. This includes your profile information, course history, and progress records in a machine-readable format.

Correction and Updates

Found outdated information in your profile? You can edit most details directly through your account dashboard. For things you can't change yourself, email us at help@fluxon-wavespot.com and we'll update it within 48 hours.

Deletion and Data Removal

Want to delete your account? Navigate to Account Settings and select "Delete My Account." This permanently removes your personal information within 30 days. We'll keep anonymized learning data for research purposes, but nothing that identifies you personally.

Marketing Preferences

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Click it once and you're off that list immediately. You'll still receive essential emails about courses you're enrolled in—things like upcoming live sessions or important platform changes.

Data Security Measures

Security isn't just a checkbox for us. We've implemented multiple layers of protection to keep your information safe from unauthorized access.

• All data transmission uses TLS encryption (that's the lock icon in your browser)
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms—we can't see your actual password
• Regular security audits and penetration testing by independent firms
• Restricted employee access based on legitimate need and role-based permissions
• Automated monitoring for suspicious activity and unauthorized access attempts
• Regular backups stored in geographically separate locations

That said, no system is 100% secure. If we ever experience a data breach that affects your information, we'll notify you within 72 hours as required by Vietnamese law and explain what happened and what we're doing about it.

Data Retention

We don't keep your information longer than necessary. Here's our retention schedule:

• Active account data: Retained while your account is active plus 30 days after deletion request
• Course completion records: Seven years to support certificate verification and career advancement
• Financial transaction data: Seven years for tax and accounting compliance
• Marketing consent records: Three years after you opt out, as proof of consent management
• Support tickets and correspondence: Two years after resolution
• Anonymized analytics data: Indefinitely for research and platform improvement

After these periods, we securely delete or anonymize information so it can't be traced back to you.

International Data Transfers

Our hosting infrastructure uses servers located in Singapore and Australia. This means your data may be processed outside Vietnam, but only with providers who meet equivalent data protection standards.

We've implemented Standard Contractual Clauses approved by Vietnamese authorities to ensure your data receives the same level of protection regardless of where it's physically stored.

Like most websites, we use cookies—small text files stored on your device. Some are essential for the platform to work. Others help us understand how people use the site.

These keep you logged in and remember your course progress. The site won't function properly without them, so they're not optional.

We don't use advertising cookies or allow third-party advertisers to track you on our platform.

Children's Privacy

Our courses are designed for adults and professionals. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years old. If you're a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy occasionally as our platform evolves or regulations change. When we make significant changes, we'll email active users at least 30 days before the new policy takes effect.

Minor updates—like clarifying existing practices or fixing typos—happen without notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.

Vietnamese Regulatory Compliance

Fluxon-Wavespot operates in full compliance with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection and related Vietnamese data protection regulations. We've registered our data processing activities with relevant authorities as required.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Department of Cybersecurity and High-tech Crime Prevention and Control (A05) under the Ministry of Public Security if you believe we've mishandled your personal data.
